Workshop FundingFunding for this workshop was provided by the Kansas City District of the US Army Corps of Engineers and HNTB. USACE Engineer Dr. John Shelley spearheaded the organization of the workshop and secured funding for HNTB to coordinate the workshop with North Arrow Research. Software FundingCurrent funding for the Geomorphic Change Detection Software development(GCD 5) is being provided by the USACE, HNTB, the National Science Foundation, Bonneville Power AuthorityPrevious funding for GCD Software Development was provided by the USGS's Grand Canyon Monitoring & Research Center and the Intermountain Center for River Restoration and Rehabilitation at Utah State University: ![]() | Software DevelopmentThe GCD Software was originally developed by Joe Wheaton (Utah State University Department of Watershed Sciences), Chris Garrard (Utah State University RSGIS Lab), and James Brasington (University of Canterbury). The newest version of the GCD is currently under development by ESSA Technologies & North Arrow Research.The current development team consists of Philip Bailey (North Arrow Research) and Joe Wheaton (USU). |
